I was really surprised to find out that MMA is on the rise in India as well. Looks like they already have a league there and a pretty good gym as well. Also, don't forget to check out who they have in their poll for 'pound for pound' best MMA fighter in India for 2011.

I found out through other MMA forums about Tigers Gym in India.  Surje Gurung has a background in kickboxing.  Check him out in action:
